Your school needs you, share your skills.

Dear parents, guardians and carers
Would you share your skills to benefit the school? You can contribute in areas such as IT, design, photography and gardening. Whether a one-off session or regular input, all such skills are highly valued and gratefully received.
The school library is sadly closed due to a lack of volunteers to keep it running. If you could offer time from 8.30am to 9am or from 3.15pm to 4pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays we could breathe fresh life into the library, offering opportunities for children to expand their access to books. Training would be provided.
School trips are another opportunity for parents who are free to accompany children (even if they are not their own).* If you are available to help in this way please add your details to the sign-up sheet in the office.
At the start of each term the school blog informs us what will be coming up throughout the term, allowing a further opportunity for parents with knowledge of any relevant subject to come forward and share it with the school. Please email via the blog if you are able to contribute in this way.
The school is looking for a group of volunteers to help with reading at the school. This would involve being at the school for a regular afternoon time, listening to children reading. A CRB check would be required and training would be provided.
If you are interested in helping in any of these ways please email putting “volunteer” in the subject line.

*Parents volunteering to assist on school trips cannot bring other children with them on the trip.
