We have a committee!

What a wonderful turnout we had for the PTA meeting on Thursday! Thanks to all who came.

We had a really good amount of applications for the committee, so we are able to announce the committee for 2012-13. If you aren’t on the committee you can still get involved. We would love any help at events, and we will be having various social events for families and children throughout the year that we hope to see you at.

There was a lot of enthusiasm and ideas for our event on Saturday the 1st of December; and so we are going to have a ‘Frost Fair’. Save the date, and please do let us know if you’d like to help or run a stall or event. We’d like to have all sorts of wintery fun and activities, and we will be hiring stalls to outside businesses such as crafts and food – so let us know if you have any ideas for that. The event will be open to the general public as it’s on a Saturday.

We chatted and agreed that any money we raise this year will go towards replacing the wet play boxes. The school council are currently looking at these and will suggest and price up some toys, games and activities for rainy days for each class. It will be great to work with the school council to buy something everyone can enjoy (looks out of window at rain).
